Clinical and Operational Managers
Ideal for Clinical Matrons, Nurse Consultants, Operational Managers and Service Leads. It’s range of competencies are appropriate for middle to senior managers engaged in both clinical and non clinical roles. The tool is designed to reflect the NHS Leadership Qualities Framework, and provides participants with comprehensive feedback about their management and leadership ability. The tool consists of mandatory and optional competencies allowing participants or their managers the flexibility to choose competencies most appropriate for their role. All of the competencies have been mapped with the Knowledge and Skills Framework (KSF) to assist organisational appraisal and facilitate the development of PDPs.
Medical Leaders
This tool is designed for doctors, and has been designed to reflect the Medical Leadership Competency Framework (MLCF). It provides the candidate with a set of competencies reflecting the dimensions of the MLCF resulting in 360 feedback on leadership, interpersonal skills and service delivery which is relevant to medical leaders.

The questionnaire is made up from the six core KSF competencies common to all NHS jobs. Candidates then choose between three and six optional competencies from the twenty four job specific competencies.
