Health Service 360 has been working with nurses at all levels of leadership since 2007, we understand the importance of interpersonal behaviour as well as clinical competence in providing both excellent patient care and working well as a team. 360 feedback is one of the best ways of enhancing self-awareness and understanding the impact you have on others.
How Health Service 360 can help
The 360 feedback itself needs to be part of a wider development focus, not just an appraisal tick box. Both the right questionnaire and well structured feedback facilitation are critical to getting real development, behavioural change and service improvement as a result of 360 feedback.
Our 360 feedback programmes are managed by Lynda Holt, herself a nurse by profession with over 15 years experience working in the NHS and 12 years working with clinical and leadership teams to improve patient care, team working, service delivery and performance. In short we understand the culture, the constrains and the unique challenges of developing nurse leaders in a multi profession organisation. Our success in this area has persisted because we are not afraid to go back to basics, to question what really matters in healthcare and to challenge some of the perceptions around what is possible by way of development.

Get the best from your 360 feedback
To get the best out of 360 feedback, frameworks need to be clear, easy to use and relevant. Trusts have a great opportunity to create 360 feedback for nurses, managers and leaders that are mapped to NHS guidance and best practice, consider areas that genuinely aid individual and organisational development and enhance care.
Health Service 360 have created a number of ready to go 360 feedback questionnaires for nurses and health service managers:
6C’s of Nursing – this new framework has been developed using the principles from the 6Cs and is appropriate for any nurse with patient contact, at whatever stage in their career.
Nurse Leaders and Matrons – has a more operational focus, a choice of competency areas and is ideal for band 7 – 8a clinical leaders.
Leaders and Managers – looks at leadership from both a strategic and operational perspective
