12th-13th May 2026

The Welcombe Hotel, Stratford upon Avon

Together,

we’ll explore the messy realities of emergency care, the great work happening day in day out, and celebrate the quiet courage it takes to keep showing up.

Emergency care is relentless, complex, and deeply human. It asks everything of you and often gives you little space to reflect or refuel. This conference is designed to provide that space.

For two brilliant days we will gather to learn, to laugh, and to share our stories. Being with people who ‘get you’, who understand the pressure and the passion, is powerful medicine.

Enjoy this rare gift of time and space to decompress, to be seen, and to recharge a little..

What to expect:

Great ideas, Deep Connection & renewed energy

The programme is created from the things you most want to hear about, the great work you most want to share and the commitment to keep making it better for each other and those we care for.

  • Looking After Yourself – short speaker presentations and discussion

The conference blends:

  • Fresh, clinically relevant learning

  • Real talk about the pressure in emergency care

  • Powerful wellbeing sessions

  • A genuine sense of connection and celebration

This is the fourth year of this conference, each year we listen to your feedback, tweak how the conference runs and make sure we have more of what you say you like best.

Interactive sessions are always popular, this year we’ll include round table discussions, practical learning and opportunities to chat with speakers, leaders of professional groups and most of all each other.

You can expect a mix of speakers, some well-known, some quietly changing their corner of the world and some sharing the latest in clinical know how.

Whether you are new to the emergency care world or you’ve been round the block a few times there’s something for you

Speakers with really meaningful topics of presentation. Engaging discussions.

Loved staff well-being focus. Very much focused at making our ED department a better place to work. Creating space for us as humans

Thank you for my yearly refresh and reconnect to emergency nursing! Thoroughly enjoyed the conference as always!

Amazing networking opportunities, really meaningful topics and  engaging discussions.  Motivating!!

Who is it for:

The conference is for people working across emergency care – including pre-hospital, community, mental health, defence services and ED. In this year’s programme we have leaned into local clinical leadership, the conference will explore how you deliver the best possible care, look after yourself and those you work with, while navigating organisational pressure.
