Our Commitment to the Principles of the Modern Slavery Act 2015:

The Braver Group aims to provide a non-discriminatory and respectful working environment for our staff. We want all our people to feel safe, seen, and confident to speak out without any risk to themselves.

Our internal recruitment and people processes are designed to safeguard our people from any abuse or coercion as well as ensuring that all prospective employees are legally entitled to work in the UK.

We do not knowingly enter into business with any organisation, in the UK or abroad, which is involved in or supports slavery, servitude and forced or compulsory labour.

We aim to educate and support our people to both understand and be vigilant of modern slavery and human trafficking.

Our Supply Chain:

Due to the nature of our business we have limited supply chain. We do nonetheless make every effort to ensure those we trade with are reputable, demonstrate ethical working practices and are transparent in their own approach to eradicating modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labour, and similar human rights abuses.

Those we trade with are include  conference venues, print and IT suppliers and partner organisations in training services. We aim to procure local ethically sourced product and services wherever possible, enhancing visibility and oversight.

Our Polices:

As a small business we have a combination of policy and standard operating procedures, ensuring our people know what is expected of them, know where and who to access information from or raise concerns with. These are available internally for all team members.

These include:

  • Diversity and Inclusion Policy
  • Raising concerns / Whistleblowing Policy
  • Behaviour / Conduct Expectations

Embedding the Principles:

We continue to raise awareness, educate our people and embed best practice through:

  • Due diligence with all new and existing suppliers, partners and people we do business with.
  • Ongoing training and discussion with our team members of what to do if they have concerns around modern slavery of human trafficking
  • Ensuring any team member involved in any form or procurement or purchasing for the business, or recruitment receive training on modern slavery and ethical employment practices.
