Health Service 360 initially used this 360 questionnaire just for their own leadership development programmes with nurses aspiring to take on clinical leadership roles.
It has proved very popular with nurses because it is grounded in clinical practice and focuses on the skills needed to manage care delivery. We believe it fills a natural gap between the NHS leadership framework 360s and some of the more basic self-assessment tools on the market. It has been used mostly in acute Trusts wanting to develop their Matrons and Band 7 nurses.
